Evolution of the OP brake pad range: the Electric Power (BPE) line arrives

The recent evolution of the OP brake pads has been marked by a significant redesign of the packaging and the introduction of a metal support and/or anti-vibration plate, colored differently for each formulation:

SP – Superior Performance: medium-performance vehicles (prefix BPA)

SP Plus – Superior Performance Plus: high-performance vehicles (prefix BPA)

EB – ​​Endurance Brake: light commercial vehicles (prefix BPA)

From today, the range is completed with a major new product:

EP – Electric Power: pads dedicated to electric and hybrid vehicles with regenerative braking (prefix BPE).

This is a significant step in the evolution of the OP range, which began a few years ago with the development of dedicated compounds for different vehicle types.
The new Electric Power (BPE) pads have been designed with a specific compound that ensures:

- optimal heat dissipation thanks to a higher zirconium siliconate content,

- improved disc cleanliness with an anti-oxidation additive,

- synergy with regenerative braking for progressive, modulable, and silent braking,

- longer life, with less wear and oxidation resistance.

With this new development, the OP range specifically covers all market needs:
from small cars to sports vehicles, from work vehicles to next-generation electric cars.
