OP was protagonist at Automechanika 2024, the prestigious automotive industry trade fair held from September 10 to 14 in Frankfurt, unveiling previews of the MECH and ELECTRO lines.

The latest innovations further expand OP’s product range, which now includes 44 lines and over 15,000 product codes, divided between mechanics and electronics.

Innovation was at the forefront of the previews revealed during the event, where OP proudly presented a new line of sensors, designed to meet the maintenance needs of modern vehicles, which integrate both mechanical and electronic systems.

The new line includes 14 types of sensors, including safety sensors, engine and emissions control sensors, and parking sensors. These devices are designed to optimize vehicle performance, ensuring safe and reliable driving.

At the trade fair, OP introduced the expansion of the filtration line under the MECH line, now including hypoallergenic and antimicrobial filters, automatic transmission filters, and battery cooling filters specifically for hybrid and electric vehicles.

As for the distribution line, OP launched timing belt kits, with the belt made of four layers of reinforced HNBR rubber and treated with a unique RFL (Resorcinol Formaldehyde, Latex) treatment. The kits are also available in a version with an integrated water pump.

Concerning the braking system components, composite brake discs were introduced, combining lightweight materials to enhance heat dissipation, thus maximizing the performance of high-performance vehicles. Additionally, to address the future needs of mobility, specific brake pads for electric vehicles (EVs) were developed, made from an advanced friction material designed to offer superior resistance to wear and corrosion.

The product range of the chassis line was enriched with engine and transmission mounts, ensuring smooth, vibration-free driving. To complete the cooling line, OP’s MECH range now includes coolant expansion tanks, which ensure optimal preservation of the coolant.

When it comes to the ELECTRO line, electric springs were added to the already existing gas springs in the range, designed to ensure smooth trunk opening.

The air suspension line was further enhanced by the introduction of air compressors, allowing for automatic suspension adjustment.

In conclusion, OP’s participation in Automechanika 2024 provided an important showcase to present the expansion of its product range, responding to the sector’s continuous evolution. The company’s ongoing commitment to the integration of mechanical and electronic systems further strengthens its position in the market.
