OP batteries are designed to guarantee performance and reliability in every situation and are available in EXTRA POWER, START & STOP with EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) technology and START & STOP with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology, each with specifications adapted to different usage needs.
Resistant materials: calcium-calcium alloy (Ca/Ca) plates improve electrical conductivity and offer greater corrosion resistance than conventional lead-antimony plates. Furthermore, the chemical stability of the calciumcalcium alloy reduces the risk of sudden failure.
Cold starts: specifications include a nominal voltage of 12V, a typical capacity range from 40Ah to over 100Ah, and a higher starting current (CCA) than conventional batteries, facilitating cold starting.
Low maintenance due to reduced water evaporation and have a significantly reduced self-discharge rate, allowing the charge to be maintained for longer periods without use.
Sealed safety: double hermetic anti-tip cover and test at -18°C according to EN50342. They also ensure greater safety due to less gas production during charging.
Extra Power Batteries
Conventional battery with lead-acid technology is designed for a wide range of petrol and diesel vehicles that are not equipped with a start-stop system.
EFB Start&Stop Batteries
Batteries with EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) lead+acid technology with reinforced plates and partitions suitable for start-stop systems, handling a high number of charge and discharge cycles
AGM Start & Stop Batteries
Batteries with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology are designed for vehicles with advanced systems. They use an absorbent glass material between the battery plates to retain the electrolyte, offering advantages such as increased resistance to vibration, capacity for charge and discharge cycles, and resistance to extreme temperatures.
