The product undergoes a series of treatments to improve durability and resistance against damages caused by harsh road and bad weather conditions.
Case-hardening: boosts the joint by supplying its surface with a coat of carbon, for long-lasting performance.
Shotblasting: OE standard treatment, eliminating blurrings by the high-pressure impact of small steel balls over the part. Roughness and projections are smoothed out for perfect setting and increased fatigue strength.
Phosphatization protective treatment: the body of the joint is soaked into a solution of sulphuric acid providing high resistance to corrosion and improving smoothness.
